We always wonder why are candles widely used by many, especially during Christmas, is it because it is pretty? No, after much research we found out that there is a great meaning behind it. The candles also have their own special significance. The four candles represent the four weeks of Advent, and one candle is lit each Sunday. Three of the candles are purple because the colour violet is a liturgical colour that signifies a time of prayer, penance, and sacrifice. Isn’t this heartwarming?
Well, it’s actually okay not to follow the “rules” as just head in for the aesthetic, that’s what many do. While many have used candles in a container in recent years but in past, these long candles are really popular. However, the drips of the wax will cause harm to the tableware, which is what many doesn’t like about it. At least that is what happens to us.
