Simple and Sweet Pom Pom Flower for Easter’s Day

Easter is almost upon us and I love seeing all of the adorable Easter decors; the bunnies, chicks, and carrots are all just too cute! I spent a few minutes this weekend making some adorable Easter pom pom chicks! With the leftover pom pom I make them into the simple and sweet pom pom flower pot.

For those, we don’t have kids at home but want to joy in the fun of Easter day? This is the best craft for you. Moreover, for the flower lover, you can actually brighten up your apartment with flowers without actually using flowers.

I googled around and found a number of tutorials, including several that use the cardboard donut method, which can be found herehere, and here. Unfortunately, I’m impatient and not particularly coordinated, so cardboard donuts were flying everywhere. My favorite method is found in the pom pom tutorial at Bella Dia.

This method makes slightly more yarn scraps, but you can recycle the scraps by using them as stuffing for craft projects, or you can put them in a small fabric pouch and add a few drops of lavender, rose, or another type of essential oil to make a drawer sachet.

After making the pom pom glue them onto a stick and now you will have your pom pom flower. We leave them in this jar we got from Ikea, isn’t it beautiful?

Take a photo of your version, send us an email, tag us on Instagramtweet us, anything. We love to see you trying out our recipe!

xoxo, Joe
