Week 38 | A Paint Portrait

Title: Dear Sophia

Instagram’s account: @fairytaleheart

This week A Paint Portrait lets me share one of my favorite portraits that I’ve painted. It featuring a close friend of mine – Sophia, whom I could always rely on. Trust is the glue of life. It’s an essential ingredient in effective communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all friendship. In a friendship, trust is something that is easy to find yet hard to maintain. However, Sophia is a friend that I could put my trust on. As she cares and listens to me like no one could. I won’t be meeting another one like her anymore.

When talking about trust, I came by a message quoted by Marla Gibbs. She once shared, “I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we’re all teachers – if we’re willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.” It’s so meaning and inspiring. It let me know that we need to lead a life with helps from people and we will never could be alone.

xoxo, Angela.
